Need a Forklift License?
Forklifts are used in many types of industries, boost your opportunities and get a forklift licence. Doesn’t matter if you have never been on one before, or have used one for many years, you are legally required to hold a high risk work license to drive one.
Who can do this course?
A Forklift truck is a powered industrial truck equipped with lifting media made up of a mast and an elevating load carriage to which is attached a pair of fork arms or other attachments that can be raised 900 mm or more
above the ground, but does not include a pedestrian operated truck or a pallet truck.
A person performing this work is required to hold a forklift truck High Risk Work Licence (HRWL).
Any person 18 years and above with a basic understanding of English and who can physically enter a forklift. A language, literacy and numeracy assessment may be conducted prior to training.
Pre-requisites
Participants must have basic computer skills and access to a reliable computer with internet and e-mail access. Participants must be able to bend and kneel on the floor to perform CPR for at least 2 minutes. No prior knowledge is required.

Regulatory Requirements
Specific licensing /regulatory requirements relating to
this competency, including requirements for refresher
training should be obtained from the relevant national/
state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory
Authorities.
Cost
Cost is $475 per person, with a retest fee of $200 if student does not successfully pass the assessment.
Time for the course is 8.30am to 4.30pm for Day 1 & 2 and 7.30am to 4.30pm for Day 3.

Assessment
Assessment is conducted by the below methods:
- Theory Questions
- Practical Set up & Driving Assessment
- Closed book test
Completion
On successful completion participants will be issued with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:
- TLILIC0003 Licence to operate a forklift truck
Your State Regulators Notice of Assessment(Valid for 60 days only)
