Elevated Work Platforms are a safe and reliable means of reaching areas that are otherwise be inaccessible. However, working at heights and on a mobile platform always carry a number of risks and hazards. That’s why it is important that everyone who uses an EWP is fully trained and competent.
Who can enrol in this qualification
This course is available to people who wish to transition into the construction industry or those already in the industry who are seeking to re-skill.
Suitability Requirements
A Pre-training review is conducted prior to enrolment
as it is essential that students must be able to read write and speak English to successfully complete this training and licence. All persons MUST be a minimum 16 years of age.

2 Black pens, High Vis clothing, Safety boots, the above ID.

Cost for the course is $495
Licensing & Regulatory Requirements
Specific licensing /regulatory requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training should be obtained from the relevant national/state/territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authorities:
Safework NSW, Worksafe VIC, Worksafe QLD, Safework SA, WorkSafe WA, Worksafe TAS, NT Worksafe, Worksafe ACT.
Delivery, Training & Assessment
We highly recommend 2 days of training, assessment and licensing. Highly experience and competent drivers who require licensing may apply for shorter training times. This May be facilitated at a customer’s site or one of our Training Centers – Please call to inquire.
Assessment is conducted by the below methods:
• Theory questions
• Practical set up, Machine inspection & Driving instruction
• Practical assessment and Driving Operations.
Completion
On successful completion participants will be issued: RIIHAN301E Operate Elevating Work Platform (Typically within 7-14 days, but may vary)
