Work Safely at Heights in the Construction Industry.
A Growth Industry
Roads and other Infrastructure projects in Australia are in a growth phase over the next 25 years. The safety of construction workers is an essential part of those projects creating a high demand for qualified persons in height related operational roles.
All workers who conduct or supervise tasks whilst at height will find this course beneficial for workplace safety. This working safely at heights course will enable you to comply with current WHS Legislation.
Who can enrol in this qualification
- Be at least 15 Years Old
- Have basic levels of language, literacy and numeracy skills
- Be physically fit enough to move light equipment and perform construction duties.
Suitability Requirements
A Pre-training review is conducted prior to enrolment in order to determine if the program and industry is appropriate and required language, literacy, numeracy and oral communication skills.

2 Black pens, High Vis clothing, Safety boots, the above ID.

Pre-study
- Online presentation & theory questions
1 Day Face to Face
- Presentation & written theory questions
- Practical Set up & Assessment on 2 occasions including:
- safe work method statements.
- hazard identification & risk assessment for working at height.
- planning, equipment inspection and use.
- working effectively with others at heightsDelv
Completion
On successful completion participants will be issued: RIIWHS204E Work Safely at Heights (Typically within 7-14 days, but may vary)
