Responsible service of alcohol certification
Need an RSA This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge required to responsibly sell or serve alcohol.
Who can enrol in this qualification
- Be at least 17 years old
- Have basic levels of language, literacy and numeracy skills
- Be physically fit enough to move light equipment in a single person lift perform bar operations.
Anyone wishing to enter frontline sale and service of alcohol, for all types of hospitality venues, sporting clubs, packaged liquor outlets, wineries, breweries and distilleries.
Suitability Requirements
A Pre-training review is conducted prior to enrolment in order to determine if the program and industry is appropriate and required language, literacy, numeracy and oral communication skills.
What do I need to enrol?
A USI*, Government issued photo Identification that demonstrates your date of birth, current residential address, photograph and signature
What do I need to bring to training?
2 Black pens, neat casual clothing, covered shoes, the above ID.

The cost for this course is $195 per person.
Licensing & Regulatory Requirements
Specific licensing /regulatory requirements relating to this competency, including requirements for refresher training should be obtained from the relevant national/state/ territory Work Health and Safety Regulatory Authorities.

May be facilitated at a customer’s site or one of our Training Centers – Please call to enquire
Training is conducted by the below methods:
6 hours of face to face – Presentation & written theory
Practical Scenarios Assessments (face to face) Including:
- Serving alcohol responsibly
- Assist customers to drink within appropriate limits
- Assess alcohol affected customers and identify those to m whom sale or service must be refused.
- Refuse to provide alcohol service
Observations while scenario training is conducted.
Completion
On successful completion participants will be issued
with a Statement of Attainment with the following units:
SITHFAB021 Provide responsible service of alcohol & NSW Liquor and gaming Interim certificate.
